Wide Open Road Teapot ,2008
Having a Triffids-fest at present.This is largely being driven by this book which I found whilst browsing the shelves of South Sea Books which just happens to be right next door to us.The book entitled
Vagabond Holes is a series of poems, essays,stories and the like based around the life,times and creative output of David Mc Comb from the Triffids.So I am currently listening to the whole back catalogue in the workshop (aah thank god for the ipod shuffle) and revelling in that 'wide open road' atmosphere.Sure some of it is a bit over-dramatic,but there is a real sense of limits being stretched or tested.
