This tape arrived in the post the other day.Luckily I still have the old technology. Ipods etc are great and handy of course,but nothing beats a lovingly crafted mixed tape featuring the clicks and scratches of love-worn vinyl.There are songs here that Itunes is unaware of.Thankfully cyberspace is not the exclucive holder of all arcane music knowledge.I can recommend the Stephen Malkmus selection and Gene Clark's glorious "why don't you call me baby"(beautifully covered by Melbourne's Lisa Miller on her great "car tape " CD from a few years back.The tape is on hi-rotation in the workshop. I hope the dust doesn't ruin it too quickly.
